Ingrid and Stoffe

We are Ingrid (60) and Stoffe (75). Stoffe is an old sailor with many stories to tell from his journeys. Ingrid can tell you everything about nature and birds. She used to work as a nature guide for several years and now also work as a teacher. Stoffe used to work as a chef but is now retired.

Our house was built the very beginning of 1900. It is a very unusual house that offers many surprises, both in construction and in the inventory. It is somewhat reminiscent of an English country house, with a dining room and a library.

We live in eastern part of Skåne, in a small village, Everöd with about 1000 inhabitants. We thrive because we think we are close to everything, about 15 minutes by car and we are at one of Sweden’s finest sandy beaches or in town, Kristianstad. We have a small airport 5 minutes away and 1.5 hours to Kastrup near Copenhagen. One of Sweden’s finest artists’ district, Österlen, is located barely 40 km away. To Ystad, known from Wallander movies, it takes about 1 hour drive.

Most important we only have a 2 minutes walk to lovely woodland strolls. Since we live in the midst of one of Sweden’s best bird area there are birds all year round. In the winter you can see the Sea and Golden eagles, Cranes by the thousands rather close to our village.

During the summer many Kites and Buzzards and the fall the Geese come by the thousands. In addition, there are plenty of small birds, warblers and wading birds. We love bird watching and nature photography, motorcycle tours on the beautiful roads that traverse Skåne, engines, working on the house and gardening. We have a beautiful cat in our home.

Good and varied food is important to us. Everything is cooked at home, and as much as possible of local products and organic. We like to eat wild meat from moose and wild boar. We have a lot of summer barbecues, even if it rains. Since we live in the middle of an apple district, we use apple in many dishes. Straight from the tap, we get fantastic fresh water.

We are not bound by any time, so would you rather come to lunch or a Swedish Fika, coffee break, we’d love to invite you.

We can also go on a trip, pack a picnic and take the car to a beautiful place in the countryside.

Ingrid can offer guided tours and we also have a small house for rental if you would like accommodation in our fantastic area.

We also haves several bikes available.

Welcome to us!
